Other Local Umpiring Opportunities

UMPS (Umpire Membership of Pickering Softball), who reside within the City of Pickering, are asked to give consideration to supporting Pickering programs first, unless of course they are asked to handle a Provincial Qualifier, Grand Championship or National tournament.  UMPS will work closely with our neighbouring Associations to staff local tournaments once we have fully staffed those tournaments taking place within our City boundaries.  Our neighbouring Associations will operate in a similar manner for their membership.

To be a member of UMPS, you must live within the City of Pickering or regularly umpire for one of the Pickering leagues.  You must be a carded umpire, however Associate designation is given to all Junior Development Umpires, who reside or officiate regularly for the Pickering Softball Association.
